What are the requirements to join?

The only requirement for membership is that your business is located within the Downtown El Dorado footprint. We welcome businesses of all types and sizes and believe that our downtown is stronger when we have a diverse group of local businesses working together!
Are their fees to join?

Yes. Each January, members pay annual dues to support the organization’s ongoing efforts and initiatives throughout the year.
What do fees cover?

Our membership fees help support a variety of initiatives designed to promote and strengthen Downtown El Dorado. These funds are used for advertising and marketing efforts, hosting and supporting downtown events, social media and digital marketing, website development and maintenance, and other promotional efforts that increase visibility for our local businesses and encourage people to visit, shop, dine, and spend time downtown.
What makes you different from the Chamber of Commerce and Main Street El Dorado?

The first thing to know is that we will always value, support, and be grateful for our friends at the Chamber of Commerce and Main Street El Dorado. We believe that when we work together, we can accomplish so much more for our community, and we regularly collaborate with both organizations to promote and strengthen Downtown El Dorado.

Where we differ is in our structure and purpose. We are a collective of local small business owners who have come together to amplify our individual voices, expand our reach, and work collectively to showcase the beauty, energy, and unique character of Downtown El Dorado. By working together, we can create a stronger presence for our businesses while encouraging residents and visitors alike to shop, dine, gather, and experience all that downtown has to offer.
How often do you guys meet?

The DBA meets monthly at rotating host businesses. We would love for you to come see what a meeting is like! We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m.
